Message Types and Operations

Supported Message Types

Lansenger supports the following message types:

• Text: Up to 6,000 Chinese characters (12,000 bytes)
• Image: Select up to 9 at once. Can be sent directly or inserted into the input box with text
• Rich Text: Includes nine-grid image-text
• Emoji: Built-in emoji packs + organization custom emoji packs
• Voice: Press and hold to record, release to send. Maximum 60 seconds
• Video: Select one video at a time
• File/Folder: Supports local files and cloud files with instant transfer
• Location: Send current location
• Contact Card: Send user card or group card
• Link and Article: Auto-parses link cards
• Code Snippet: Send formatted code
• Red Packet: Mobile only

Composing and Sending

Voice Messages

• Switch to the recording function, press/hold or tap to record, release to send
• Select language before recording. The recipient’s speech-to-text uses the selected language
• Slide up during recording to cancel

Voice-to-Text Input

Slide left on the recording interface or tap “Voice-to-Text” at the bottom. Voice is converted to text in real time and can be edited before sending. Maximum 60 seconds per message.

Message Operations

Copy

• Mobile: long-press message; Desktop: right-click message and select “Copy”
• Desktop: select partial text with mouse and use keyboard shortcut to copy
• Mobile: long-press text to enter selection mode, drag cursors to adjust selection range

Partial Copy Support

Quote

All message types except red packets support quoting. Can be single or batch quoted. The same message can be quoted multiple times.

Forward

• Supports batch forwarding of multiple messages
• Forward to up to 9 users or groups simultaneously
• Supports “Forward Individually” and “Forward as Bundle”
• Voice messages and red packets cannot be forwarded
• Collaborative files without forward permission cannot be forwarded

React (Emoji Reaction)

React to messages with emojis. Supported types include text, images, emoji, voice, video, files, links, code snippets, contact cards, etc. When you receive a message that mentions you, quick actions “Got it” and “React” are displayed.

Remind

Set a reminder time for messages. When due, you receive an official account notification and in-app popup. Supported types: text, image, video, voice, file, code snippet.

Urgent

Send urgent reminders for your own messages to increase delivery effectiveness:

• In-app reminder (default)
• In-app + SMS reminder
• In-app + Phone call reminder

Snooze

Add messages or conversations to the “Snooze” list (up to 100 items) for later processing. Tapping an item in the list opens the original conversation and locates the message.

Pin

• Up to 5 pinned messages per conversation
• In direct messages, both parties can pin/unpin
• In group chats, pin permissions can be set to group owner / deputy owner only

Recall

Recall your own messages within the valid recall period. Default is 2 minutes.

Delete

All message types support deletion. Deleted messages are synced and deleted across all your devices (only affects your view).

Message Search

Global Search

Search chat history in the top search bar. You can search all direct message and group history by keyword or file name. Multiple results are merged automatically. Tap to locate the message and view context.

Local Search

Local search finds messages cached on the current device.
