Privacy and Security
Privacy Policy and Permissions
Privacy Compliance
- A pop-up prompts the service agreement and privacy policy when the app is first launched; users must agree before use
- When the privacy policy is updated, a pop-up reminder appears on app launch
- The login page requires checking the box to agree to the service agreement and privacy policy (unchecked by default)
Personal Information Collection List
In Settings, you can review the scenarios in which personal information is collected during use, the types of information that may be collected, and the purpose of collection.
System Permission Management
- View common permissions and their status under “Settings → Privacy and Security → System Permission Management”
- Tap a permission to view its usage description
- A quick link to the system permission settings is provided
- Some features prompt for permission before use, explaining the purpose; users can choose whether to grant access
Denying a permission only affects the corresponding feature and does not impact other features.
Message Security
Burn After Read
After sending a Burn After Read message, the message is automatically destroyed once the recipient views it — ideal for sending sensitive information.
Message Encryption
Lansenger supports National Crypto algorithm encryption, covering the entire business process including network connections, data transmission, and storage.
Message Recall
You can recall your own sent messages within the valid recall period, which defaults to 2 minutes. Group owners/assistant owners can force-recall any member’s message in the group.
Watermark and Screenshot Prevention
Screen Watermark
Screenshot Prevention
- Android: Supports system-level screenshot prevention
- iOS: Does not support screenshot prevention (system limitation); uses “Screenshot Freeze” instead — freezes the screen content when a screenshot is taken
Screenshot Freeze
