Video Conference
Video Conference supports multi-party online video communication within an organization. During a conference, up to 20 video feeds can be viewed simultaneously.
Note: Public cloud Video Conference provides a trial license with 20-participant capacity and 10GB of storage, valid for 90 days after initial installation. Upon trial expiration, resources must be requested from the Lansenger operations team.
Initiate a Conference
- Open the Video Conference app
- Tap “Start Conference”
- Select participants (from Contacts, Group Chats, or recent conversations)
- Optionally set a join password
Join a Conference
Multiple ways to join:
- Join via conference link or conference ID
- Tap “Join Conference” from the conference list
- Join from a Group Chat shortcut
- Join via PSTN phone number (requires feature activation)
- Join via H.323/SIP terminal (requires feature activation)
Schedule a Conference
- Set conference topic, start time, participants, join password, etc.
- Schedule recurring conferences (can sync to Calendar as an Event)
Conference Roles
| Role | Description |

| Host | Conference organizer with the highest privileges |
| Off-site Host | Does not join the conference but assists with controls; PC only |
| Co-host | Designated by the host with the same control privileges |
| Participant | Participant without control privileges |
The host can transfer their role or designate co-hosts via the participant list. Once transferred, the host role cannot be revoked. A conference can have multiple co-hosts.

Control Operations
- Mute/unmute participants
- Remove participants
- Lock the conference (prevent new members from joining)
- Force-enable a participant’s microphone or camera (requires forced control feature)
- Mute all
- Rename participants (host/co-host/off-site host can rename all members)
Host a Conference
- Members with the host password can enter it via “Host Conference” in the participant list to become the host
- Off-site hosting: Enter the conference ID and host password on the Video Conference home page (PC only)
Conference Recording
Cloud Recording
- After the conference ends, some time is needed to generate the recording
- Once generated, it can be viewed in past conference details and conference recordings
Local Recording
- Requires admin console activation
- Recordings are stored in a preset folder; the path can be changed in Video Conference Settings → Recording
- Each conference creates a separate folder; multi-segment recordings are generated in chronological order
Recording Management
- Recording visibility can be set to “Public” or “Hidden” (hidden recordings are not viewable by any participant)
- Deletion permissions are controlled by the admin console
- PC users can download recordings of conferences they initiated (requires admin console permission)
Fixed Cloud Conference Room
- Requires authorization before creation
- When creating, select the owning user or Branch, set maximum participants, join password, and host password
- Fixed conference rooms are permanently valid and reusable
- The owning user can join without a password via one tap
- The host can create a conference group (using the conference topic as the group name)
Conference Records
All conferences you initiated or participated in are listed by time. You can view the conference topic, time, initiator, participants, and other details, as well as cloud and local recordings.
One-on-One Call
- Initiate an online voice/video call from a Direct Chat shortcut menu or user profile card
- Network-only call; requires Wi-Fi or cellular data
- More participants can be invited during the call; with three or more, it switches to conference mode
- One-on-One Call requires a Video Conference license and consumes concurrent participant capacity
Note: The former “LanPhone” feature has been officially deprecated as of version 8.9/7.39. The current One-on-One Call is a network-only calling feature.
